Why Digital Gym Director?

I created Digital Gym Director because I've lived every side of the gymnastics world for the last 20+ years—and I know where the gaps are.

Almost 10 years ago, my small-town gym faced a staffing crisis. We needed coaches, but we couldn't afford to train people and then watch them leave, and pickings were slim being in a small town. So I created TILT (Teens in Leadership Training) to train our 12-14-year-old athletes as volunteer coaches. It worked. Those teens became our most dedicated staff members, and 82% of TILT graduates still move into paid coaching positions today.

But as I helped gym owners solve their staffing challenges, I saw another pattern: they were drowning in administrative work. Scheduling, bookkeeping, event management, customer communication—all the behind-the-scenes tasks that kept them from doing what they loved: coaching.

That's when Digital Gym Director expanded beyond TILT. I started offering remote administrative services to help gym owners reclaim their time and run more efficient operations.

And then I heard from the parents. They had questions—lots of them. About competition levels, costs, how to support their athlete, what "optional" even means. So I created the Gymnastics Mom Survival Guide to give parents the insider knowledge they desperately needed.
